CINTA, KEKAYAAN, KECANTIKAN, KESEDIHAN, KEGEMBIRAAN

Alkisah di suatu pulau kecil, tinggallah berbagai macam benda-benda abstrak: ada CINTA, KEKAYAAN, KECANTIKAN, KESEDIHAN, KEGEMBIRAAN dan sebagainya. Awalnya mereka hidup berdampingan dengan baik dan saling melengkapi. Namun suatu ketika, datang badai menghempas pulau kecil itu dan air laut tiba-tiba naik semakin tinggi dan akan menenggelamkan pulau itu. Semua penghuni pulau cepat-cepat berusaha menyelamatkan diri.

CINTA sangat kebingungan sebab ia tidak dapat berenang dan tak mempunyai perahu. Ia berdiri di tepi pantai mencuba mencari pertolongan. Sementara itu air makin naik membasahi kaki CINTA. Tak lama CINTA melihat KEKAYAAN sedang mengayuh perahu.

“KEKAYAAN! KEKAYAAN! Tolong aku!” teriak CINTA. Lalu apa jawab KEKAYAAN, “Aduh! Maaf, CINTA!” kata KEKAYAAN. “Perahuku telah penuh dengan harta bendaku. Aku tak dapat membawamu serta, nanti perahu ini tenggelam. Lagipula tak ada tempat lagi bagimu di perahuku ini.” Lalu KEKAYAAN cepat-cepat mengayuh perahunya pergi meninggalkan CINTA tenggelam.

CINTA sedih sekali, namun kemudian dilihatnya KEGEMBIRAAN lewat dengan perahunya. “KEGEMBIRAAN! Tolong aku!”, teriak CINTA. Namun apa yang terjadi, KEGEMBIRAAN terlalu gembira karena ia menemukan perahu sehingga ia tuli tak mendengar teriakan CINTA. Air makin tinggi membasahi CINTA sampai ke pinggang dan CINTA semakin panik.

Tak lama lewatlah KECANTIKAN. “KECANTIKAN! Bawalah aku bersamamu!”, teriak CINTA. Lalu apa jawabKECANTIKAN, “Wah, CINTA, kamu basah dan kotor. Aku tak bisa membawamu ikut. Nanti kamu mengotori perahuku yang indah ini.” sahut KECANTIKAN. CINTA sedih sekali mendengarnya. CINTA mulai menangis teresak-esak.

Apa kesalahanku, mengapa semua orang melupakan aku. Saat itu lewatlah KESEDIHAN. Lalu CINTA memelas, “Oh, KESEDIHAN, bawalah aku bersamamu”, kata CINTA. Lalu apa kata KESEDIHAN, “Maaf, CINTA. Aku sedang sedih dan aku ingin sendirian saja…”, kata KESEDIHAN sambil terus mengayuh perahunya. CINTA putus asa. Ia merasakan air makin naik dan akan menenggelamkannya. CINTA terus berharap kalau dirinya dapat diselamatlkan.

Lalu ia berdoa kepada Tuhannya, oh tuhan tolonglah aku, apa jadinya dunia tanpa aku, tanpa CINTA? Pada saat kritis itulah tiba-tiba terdengar suara, “CINTA! Mari cepat naik ke perahuku!”

CINTA menoleh ke arah suara itu dan melihat seorang tua reyot berjanggut putih panjang sedang mengayuh perahunya. Lalu cepat-cepat CINTA naik ke perahu itu, tepat sebelum air menenggelamkannya. Kemudian di pulau terdekat, orang tua itu menurunkan CINTA dan segera pergi lagi. Pada saat itu barulah CINTA sadar, bahwa ia sama sekali tidak mengetahui siapa orang tua yang baik hati menyelamatkannya itu. CINTA segera menanyakannya kepada seorang penduduk tua di pulau itu, siapa sebenarnya orang tua itu.

“Oh, orang tua tadi? Dia adalah “WAKTU”, kata orang itu. Lalu CINTA bertanya “Tapi, mengapa ia menyelamatkanku? Aku tak mengenalnya. Bahkan teman-teman yang mengenalku pun enggan menolongku”, tanya CINTA heran. “Sebab”, kata orang itu, “hanya WAKTU lah yang tahu berapa nilainya harga sebuah CINTA itu……”

He shuddered, taking a glass of water and drinking it all at once. She got scared when he held the glass which made her smile when she saw him drinking. And then he saw her smile.

He told her: I guess you’re right; nature is a female.
She said: And you weren’t wrong; beauty is a male.
He said: No, but happiness is a female.
She said: Maybe, but love is a male.
He said: I admit; sacrifice is a female.
She said: And I avow that forgiveness is a male.
He said: But I am sure that life is a female.

He sighed smilingly, reaching for her hand. She walked along with him; sure to have the last word:

i was sitting under a tree when you found me. "who are these people in the top right corner?" you asked. i smiled and said, "they're the children." i did not tell you that, in my picture, the bullies and brats were the children who lived in poverty. i did not tell you that the kid with good etiquette was actually the girl who was born with cancer and hated her life at 5 years old. i did not mention that, in my picture, the truth was a lie.

"who are these people in the top left corner?" you asked. i smiled and said, "they're the teenagers." i did not tell you that, in my picture, sluts wore just as little clothes, but all they wore were their ugly hearts and for that, boys didnt want to sleep with them. i did not tell you the science geeks got the girls and failed all their tests. i did not tell you the stoners were the ones who succeeded, and the prom queen was the girl who watched her feet when she walked and washed her hair twice a week.

"who are these people in the bottom left corner?" you asked. i smiled and said, "they're the middle-aged people." i did not tell you that, in my picture, the junkies were the ones who invented a cure to addiction. i did not tell you the catholics were the serial killers. i did not tell you rich bitches were the hobos. i did not tell you that the average mum who makes average food who lives in an average house and has an average husband is the prime minister of canada.

THE PROPOSAL

Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) is the executive editor-in-chief of a book publishing company, Colden Books, who forces her assistant Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) to marry her in order to avoid being deported to Canada. He grudgingly accepts, under the condition that he is promoted to the position of editor. When the government investigates, the two are forced to spend the weekend with his parents in Alaska in order to sell the lie. The family suggest they could marry the same weekend, and they reluctantly accept. They start to fall genuinely in love as they spend more and more time together. Because of this, during the wedding ceremony, Margaret decides she cannot do this to Andrew and confesses the business arrangement in front of everyone--including the immigration officer handling their case. She is then told that she has 24 hours to get back to Canada, and thus goes back to New York to pack her things. Upon doing so, however, Andrew shows up at the office and confesses his love for her in front of the entire office staff, proposing marriage all over again.
When high-powered book editor Margaret faces deportation to her native Canada, the quick-thinking exec declares that she's actually engaged to her unsuspecting put-upon assistant Andrew, who she's tormented for years. He agrees to participate in the charade, but with a few conditions of his own. The unlikely couple heads to Alaska to meet his quirky family and the always-in-control city girl finds herself in one comedic fish-out-of-water situation after another. arini da 3rd day aku keje kt cni.. arini agak m'bosankn sket.. xtau nk wat keje ape.. asyik dok m'bilang mase ble tyme nk balik... rase mcm arini lembab gle mase b'lalu.. huhuhu...
so aku nulis dlm blog ni pon sbb da xde keje lain nk buat.. bdak2 FS lain sume da ade plan msg2.. ak mcm nk ikut je plan dorg.. tp aku x usulkn lg.. sbb aku ade keje yg menanti.. iaitu nnt aku kna p'kenalkn bdak2 model khas dlm skolah dgn zoom-A... td br godek2 sket web zoom-A tu.. tp kna register plak dl.. org yg register utk skolah ni plak x ingt ape username & p'wd yg dorg gne utk zoom-A tu.. haprak btol.. so cmne aku nk start nye??? tell me!!!
